Aquamarine, Schorl, Feldspar, Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

$2,000.00

Size: 8.8x4.7x2.7 cm

Weight: 40.15 grams

Species: Aquamarine, Schorl, Feldspar

Locality: Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

Description: The aesthetics of this specimen are next level. Multiple crystals of gem blue aquamarine rise from a bed of white feldspar and black schorl crystals. The main crystal features inclusions of mica trapped at the center of the crystal. This is what likely caused the screw dislocation which created a helical pattern spiraling up through the center of the crystal. One of the crystals on the side is not terminated, however this allows observation of a very cool impression that it made on the left hand side into another aquamarine. Please note that the main crystal has 1 fit repair.
