$0.00
Sold Out

Size: 4.0x3.1x2.6cm

Species: Fluorite

Locality: 4th Level, Niederschlag mine, Barenstein, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany

Description: This material is from a new find in Germany from an active mine. The majority of this material is being mined and crushed down to produce hydrofluoric acid, however the miners are occasionally able to save specimens from being destroyed. This particular specimen features a yellowish core with bands of fine blue phantoms near the edges. When backlit this serves to combine to create a lovely green color. There is some microchipping on the edges but the specimen is in great condition.
