Description: A sharp translucent Japan law twin smoky quartz from New Mexico. World class specimens were produced from this locality in 1979. For a time afterwards these specimens were vary hard to find. More recently Phil Simmons was able to field collect some good specimens which quickly sold out. This specimen is from the recent production.
