Locality: US Borax Mine, Boron, Kern Co. California, USA

Description: These unique dehydration pseudomorphs of borax crystals formed as a post mining product when the mine was underground. Now that the mine has switched to an open pit these specimens are no longer able to form. These particular specimens were collected by Joe Sifekey who was the head geologist at the mine.
